Based on the Mini, Mini Moke was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis for the British Motor Corporation. The name "Moke" comes from a British slang term "donkey". The Moke was originally designed for light military vehicle similar to the American Jeep, but given the scarcity of land and small wheels Mini Moke was never a jeep. Once it is clear that the army is concerned, the Mini Moke for civilians has been marketed alsUTO cheap ads. UNSA beach buggy, the Moke ist in the United States, tropical resorts in the Caribbean and Australia.
Originally in the Morris factory in Oxford, the Mini Moke production line to the BMC in Longbridge, Birmingham and finally the plant production has been transferred abroad. Production ceased in 1993 after around 50,000 Mokes taken place between the United Kingdom, Australia, Portugal and detissuation lignes.
Now, in 2008, the Mini Moke, manufacturers again! And exclusive Verträge with the manufacturer, Mini Mania, Inc. has the right to sell the Moke kit in the form, or only partially assembled.
